If Southern California is chosen, there is a lot to do that is free. Examples : Go to the Beach , close Proximity to Jean. There is the Hollywood Bowl where Rick has friends in Administration. There are 2 hotels real close to Jean, Our Carson Community Center is available for functions with a fee but it is nice. Descanso Garden is close to Wallace , also the Rose Bowl. [ Jean is getting up in years and travel is low priority] - Jean
